12.07.2019 | I have accepted a job as a TT Assistant Professor at the Radboud University of Nijmegen. After 7 1/2 years I will be moving back to my home country. My new position will be at the Aquatic Ecology group, working with Professor Leon Lamers.

01.10.2018 Our NERC urgency grant funded starts from today. Last week we (Marc Dumont, Paul Hughes, Mary Edwards, and Rob Mills) installed our plot in the recently burned Saddleworth Moor. We try to answer important questions on how microbial life is affected by wildfire, and if we can put microbes to work to fast-track the recovery of ecosystem processes.
